Married almost 10 years and own two beagles. I got the riding bug years ago but only last year did my wife also take an interest. (Her parents conditioned her to see motorcycles as "donor sleds") We took a safety class last summer and after much searching, bought a 98 Savage with fewer than 500 miles. I've loved the bike, but my wife only recently agreed to get on the back for a ride.
Also formed an informal MC called Jews Who Cruise from my synagogue. Very few people know I own the bike -- I don't want to get in the situation where kids are saying: "But mom, even the rabbi has one. .."
